just wondering what the CFL/NFL fans out there think of the pickup?
I have a feeling printers is too small and injury prone to succeed in the nfl at all...unless they get him on some serious juice. probably wont take a snap all year, and his ego/desire to play will eventually bring him back to the CFL to dominate. Still pissed he didnt play at all this season...he singlehandedly made me watch/go to the lions games again. oh well...it'd be pretty cool if he warren mooned it up down there.

warren moon, doug flutie, and now Printers.
*sigh I can't help but feel hurt when good CFL talent goes south. On a personal note, I'd love to see him do well, but as a CFL fan, his absense will be felt. At least until the next big star comes around. After spending time in Vancouver, he's going to hate Kansas. ![]() |

definitely. After i made the post last night i saw an interview with him and he actually looked pretty huge. He must have started bulking up early to try to get an nfl sized body. i was hoping the lions'd trade dickinson and sign him though ![]() |

How much did the Chiefs sign him? I know it included a $100k signig bonus.
I thought 3 year/1.2million CAD was pretty decent offer by the Lions. But its the prime of Printers' career...so, I hope he can succeed. |

$100k is piddly little mice nuts.
I wouldn't be surprised if the Chief's matched his offer. With the tax situation and dollar the way it is, he has the potential to take home more than any Canadian team would pay him. |

$100k is a joke in the NFL for a signing bonus...but compare it to the offers within the CFL, its a pretty sweet incentive.
