Default Don't come play in our field uninvited.

Unless we're having a rallycross, a rallycross setup day and/or you've been specifically invited to come tear ass around our field, do not let us catch you out here.

If you violate this rule and get caught by the land owner (which isn't me, and which isn't the one who caught the two tonight), you will have a couple hundred rallycrossers pissed off at you... when we lose one of our TWO sites.

Also, if you've never been out here before and you go flying around the field, you may lose some parts of your car - I know where the places are that I don't want to drive, but YOU don't. (and after tonight, there WILL be some new places NOT to go just in case this happens again)

Back to your regularly-scheduled programming...

Wow I never thought that your field would be a location for a random run through the dirt, grass, and mud. Must have been one of the "regular's" or someone who showed up once.

Either way, if it does cause us to lose the site, then yeah

Is streaking still cool? Or is this an all around general ban?

STi went past the house around 9PM last night, and I wondered who it was and why they weren't pulling into my driveway, then they went out and pretended they were me in the field. Blocked the path with the FXT, and confronted them. "Some guy told me it was ok to come out here and play in this field - I didn't know it was private property."

We worked things out, and they said they would come help with setup and fix anything they had torn up, and would enter the rallycross as well. Hopefully they'll follow through.

And speaking of boobie traps, here's what the "no trespassing" sign that I came up with last night will say...

Private Property - this field contains deep holes and assorted other booby traps; trespass at your own risk. Also, we shoot first and don't ask questions. Have a nice time!

Fortunately I've got a fence around my course, but as a collector of antique construction equipment I also dig random holes when playing with the bulldozers and stuff. Like a whole car would disappear. Then I'd invite my full-auto friends out to play.

I've gotten pretty good with a box blade, so I'll have no problem creating some nice hazards where trespassers can remove a wheel or two, maybe even a bumper, without using any tools.

I really hope it doesn't get to the point where we have to put up a fence.

What's your point? That you're going to come onto our property, drive like an ******* and then attempt to get to your gun while I'm standing there pointing a shotgun at you? I bet I'd win.

So anyway, the point here is "respect private property." Anybody's welcome here as long as they're invited - which includes rallycross setup days, install parties and rallycrosses. All other times the field is off limits.

It would actually help you out if they were carrying.. since it would be illegal to shoot a tresspasser who isn't reaching for a gun.

I think with the little devil smiley you put at the end of your "other people carry too" comment, he may have taken that as "you just try and stop me, I have a gun of my own."

Yep - you have to use the smilies properly or you may be misinterpreted.

1. if no gun is apparent, step in front of car while it's moving.
2. shoot.
3. "he tried to run me over, Deputy!!! "
