Rally Stuff lifting outbacks

I'm lifted , but I have a wagon. Try Offroadsubarus.com you might find some Aussies who've lifted a sedan with pics.

If you want info on lifts let me know. I used Kingsprings for mine: kingsprings.com.au is the site.

Scorpion lifts is another option.

When ya get it done let me know ..definitely show up at WCSS8!!!

I've got the perfect offroad front bumper for ya....cheap if your interested if have another one . It's bomber and easily bolts on. here's pic of my car with it.

yeah, it does look pretty good, but mine is a 96, it looks a little more like a station wagon. like, the car looking front clip and all.

There are two or three folks over on subaruoutback org who have done it. It actually firms up the ride since the lift is achieved through stiffer springs (generally). Scorpion offers both a spring lift (~1.5") and a body lift kit that uses aluminum blocks to raise the body 2" above the drivetrain, which improves approach, departure and misc. clearance although technically, your minimum clearance doesn't change with the body lift since your drive train is still the same.

I think it's ok on an outback, but unfortunately, the wheel wells on the Outback are too tight to fit larger rubber in, even with the lift. I saw an Outback sport with the lift and bigger tires though and it looks just awesome.

Does the outback sport/impreza have larger wheel wells than an outback/legacy ?

[edit]
also, the 1.5" spring lift, is that also including better struts?

how does the lift compare to a lowered street performance suspension for handling?

I have this nasty habit of driving about twice the speed limit.

What are the thoughts on adjustable suspension here, like shockwave airbag/struts or air shocks or something? are there any reports on air bagged outbacks? this would give flexibility with ride height, but how would it affect handling? maybe lowered performance suspension and helper bags for off road?

hmmm.. Where'd you get that bumper, make it yourself? Might be cheaper than fixing my car after my "off road adventure" (aka crash)
