Default What To Do Before Protune

i just got my ap & downpipe (not installed yet), and i was wonderin if there is any mods i should do before or on the spot when considering a protune. the main one i can think of would b an intake. i will have a cobb intake installed on the spot before the protune. would u guys recommend any others (flywheel, pulley, inlet hose, uppipe)? i really don't plan on doin a catback, so u don't have to mention that. thanks.

Call your tuner and ask them. Asking us will lead you astray as your tuner's advice is better than all the advice you can get from us hosers.

I'd get an alky injection kit before a protune, definitely.

no need for a UP, because the STi is already catless tere.

i would say that you have performed service before you get tuned.

fuel pump can't hurt. I might be getting pro-tuned in March, so I'm scrambling to get everything together that I need for my stock '06 STi. Here's my list of parts to get / things to do (maybe)... Of course, I'll be running this by the tuner first to get his advice. Not necessarilly saying I will be buying/doing all these things, but this is just a list of things to research and consider.

1.Intake
2. Inlet hoses
3. Catch cans
4. Downpipe
5. CEL/O2 fix
6. Catback
7.Wastgate porting
8. Ceramic coating
9. exhaust gaskets
10. heat shield
11. wideband O2
12. fuel pump
13. Accessport
14. Streettuner
15. aquamist
16. Colder spark plugs
17. Crank pulley
18. Oil change
