Default Stock Tire Tread Markets ? STI 04 RE070's

What do the two tread markers on RE070's mean you have left on them, milages wise ? Like 3 and 6k mabey ?

Depends how you drive. It could be 10000 miles or an afternoon of track driving.

subieworx gave you the correct answer. However, if you want to try to figure it out with respect to your normal driving, consider:

the wear bars are typically at 4/32. The RE070's start life with 9/32. So if you're down to the wear bars, that means you have 4/9 of the original tread depth left. You can use them as deep as you feel comfortable but I generally only use them to 2/32 or so.

So if you have 15,000 miles and you're at 4/32, that means you have used 5/7 of the usable tread (if you only use them to 2/32). So the remaining 2/7 of usable tread would be ~6000 miles.

which bars are 4/32 on the 070's? there is 3, looks like they are lower in height towards the inner part of the rim.

I don't know about the 070's specifically, but I've seen a lot of tires, and most of the time, the wear bars are at 2/32. Generally that means it's time to start shopping for new tires, as yours are worn out.

There are 2 differnt Ware bars, a tall, and short one, i think tall one is 4/32 short is 2/32... ive got a decent ammount above the 4/32 at 12k miles !!! Waiting for summer, and these things are toast !
