Default Poor mans V7 STi

How safe is this set up untuned? I'm using two cans of toluol per tank untill it gets tuned.

V7 STI ECU
JDM WRX EJ205, with AVCS, 9:1 compression, big port heads.
VF39
USDM STi Intercooler
STi pink injectors
TGV delete
One step colder NGK Iridium spark plugs
Walbro fuel pump
3" TBE with cat
Defi Boost and EGT gauges
Perrin EBCS (not installed, WRX soleinoid for now)
link to my swap thread: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=797522

The only big differences are a slightly different IHI turbo, different cams, and a weaker block.

If the JDM WRX has a stock redline of 7600 rpm, and my ecu lets me spin over 8000 rpm, can i take it above 7600?

I plan on getting tuned very soon by PDX but i want to know if its safe to drive in the mean time. so far it seems to be running very strong. Its getting 15psi and i havn't seen the egts go over 1200F. Also, when i get this tuned how much boost should i run? Thanks

Fast or not......get a scoop ASAP so you can get some air flow to that TMIC.

Looking for trouble without one.

BTW...Sweet ride!

hell i ran my engine on the wrong ECU for 1000 miles... little different story though.

this thing is SO FAST!!!!!!! i now have full faith that my tranny will live up to any abuse i put to it after witnessing that one 1-2 shift! that was sweet

why doesnt some tuning shop step up and give some input whether or not its a good idea to be driving it now?

it would be good to know, but i think hes going to drive it anyways

sorry I wasn't as expressive as Nick tends to be. I hate the sound of my voice recorded.

The correct answer would be 14k miles.

compression test results: 132, 121, 125, 100

Shoot me in the face please.

Maybe ive had low compression on one cylinder all along. Today i tore apart the motor only to find no damage.

A big thanks to subaru for installing piston rings wrong. This is exactly how they were spaced when i removed the piston.

Maybe i have too much carbon on the valves. i don't really know what to think.
