Default STi Cams or WRX Cams??

I'm in a bit of a dilemma. I have a complete STi longblock that is going in my WRX. I will be using WRX style engine managament so I wont have the AVCS. I have a post in the convertion forum and I was told that I will need to use the WRX intake cams to use the WRX cam sensor since the STi sensors wont work. With the AVCS not active would the STi cams out perform the WRX cams?

Thanks,
Frankie

They have slightly more lift. Yes, they'll out perform the USDM WRX cams. RiftsWRX was running STi cams in his Axis 2.5litre/WRX head motor with great results.
