Question ADR Wheel Quality

Ran a couple of searches, but didn't find anything but one thread from 2001 that dealt with the quality of ADR Wheels. Things have changed a lot in wheel production since 01 though.

I'm considering a set of ADR M-Sports 17x7 48mm offset in Hyper Black for my White 04 2.5RS.

Anyone out there had any quality issues with this brand? i.e. paint/powdercoating chipping, wheels weight, balancing problems etc...? I know that they are a cheaper brand than say BBS, but I can only afford so much y'know? I'm also open to suggestion if you know of a similiar looking wheel that is better quality.

i had/have a set of ADR's and have no complaints. they are 18x7.5 and fit perfectly, i was dropped on tein s-techs with 225/40/18 rubber and it was perfect. they are black with a polished lip and still looks like i just bought them. no problem balancing and well worth the $$$. fraction of the cost of rota's and better i.m.o, at least you know ADR's not a replica brand.

I was originally looking at the M-Sports as well. The only thing that I was worried about was the weight. I had called ADR and they said the 17s were like ~20lbs. I am not positivie on that number because they guy sounded like an idiot but that I am sure is part of the reason BBS are so expensive. They are much lighter. Just my $0.02. They definately look awesome in black or in silver. Good luck with your decision.

i've got a set of dark gray 17" dv-8's that i use as winter rims. they've been through 2 winters (lots of salt and junk build up) and the finish still looks new. not to mention they stood up to michigan's terrible roads w/o bending.
