Anyone know of an independent company that I could buy a turbocharger for my 2000 Impreza from? Was curious in the price comparison of what the dealer has to offer, and some of the companies out there that would just sell me the parts necessry for my impreza. I also understand that some welding is required as well, but I would rather install it myself, much more fun, and I would learn a heck of alot more then by doing it myself.
Also, any experiences that you have had of certain models of turbo that would work best for my car is appreciated. |

The Aftermarket forced induction forum is probably going to get you much more info that you can use. They had a thread of whose kit was best not too long ago, might search on "vishnu, ludespeed" stuff like that. The links section also has the websites for those selling kits so you can contact them directly.
If you are going aftermarket turbo on an RS, beware the tranny. cheers, scotto |
