Default STi axles fit on gc8 hubs?

this just slipped my mind. Quick question,

When swapping a 6spd 04 Sti trany/ drive train, diff and axles, can you use your stock hub assembly from an GC8 Rs, Or will the Sti axles only match up to Sti hubs?

Thanks guys.

The front axles will fit the GC8 hubs. The rears will not as you need the R180 hubs. Hope this helps.

is there any trouble with the suspension changing from a 00 RS R160 rear end to an R180 with axles and brembos? I've got a JDM 6-speed and a 3.9 conversion for my R160. I was thinking about switching to the R180 but didn't wanna have to mess with new suspension parts (I've got Tein SS coilovers).

Thanks!! So it just looks like I'd need to find out if the coilovers on there now are different from the stock struts and then find an appropriate spacer with a new alignment.

you could use r160 rear diff just send it to godspeed and they'll send you a r180 ring & pinion.. that fit r160 axles.. so you dont have to change your rear end. (axles hub etc)

So I’m getting the complete Sti rear end, R180, sub frame, axles…. I just have to match them up with my Gc8 hubs. Where can I get these custom Sti/gc8 axles made?
