What size wheels? 17 or 18? Lots of people here like Perelli Pzero Nero M+S as a good all season. Havn't tried them though. For Philly weather mid November thru February my current Sumitomo HTR+ is doing fine, especially for an $83 tire, although there clearly are better out there.

VERY impressed with Nokian WR tires in 225/45/17. Excellent wet grip and pretty respectable on the dry as well (for an all season tire). They're quieter than the RE070s, but won't deliver the same level of performance. There are always trade-offs when you go to an all season. The side walls aren't as stiff, so the response to steering input is slightly delayed.

Just picked up a set of Pirelli PZero Nero M+S tires and they work great. It was either those or the Avons and the Pirellis seemed to have a slight edge in the dry.

BF Goodrich KDWs are awsome in my opinion. I run them on my skyline and it sees occasional track and is daily driven. Great tires!

KDW suck in the rain, let alone the snow.

if you have ur stock set of wheels and the volks i say do a summer/winter setup. put winter tires (blizzaks, m3's etc.) on the bbs, and summer tires (re070s, rt615s) on the summer only setup. i used my stock wrx wheels with dunlop m3's and for summer i have a set of torques with re070's.

Pirelli's all the way. I have had my Pzero Neros for 3 seasons now and they are still over 50% tread. Great tires on dry pavement, rain, everything except snow. But that's why I take mine off and it looks like you'll be doing the same.
