Default Help Hydra and stops..

I got my car running now.. Using a base map.. it runs fine after 2000 rpm but idle goes up and down and when i get to a stop the cars dies.. what can i do to find my problem or is it something i need to do with the hydra..

That really sounds like a vacuum leak, possibly at the injector o-rings. It could also be too lean. 9 out of ten times when the idle oscillates and the car dies the AFR is too lean.

Post or email me a pertinent piece of a data log at full speed (data not car) and I'm sure we can help.

Eliminate vacuum as a source of problems. If it's oscillating, moving up or down, once every second, I agree vacuum is the place to look. Black smoke out the tail after start up-->vacuum.

Like Phil mentions it could be lean. If you have a WB O2 sensor, when the car is warm, turn on the RPM and Load Tracking and watch the AFR at idle. You will see the load sites change (or not). Tune all the load sites around the main idle site such that the AFR is around 14.5. If you are above AFR=15 you need to add fuel to all the sites surrounding the principle idle site, not just the most active one. Even with a narrow band you should be able to tune idle.

Raise the Moving Steps in Settings/Injection to prevent dying when coming to a stop. If the idle is dropping below it's target (Idle Target Map) raise the PWM Min in the Settings/ISC until it no longer drops below the targeted idle speed.

Try to describe the phenomena after the engine is fully warm more. That will help pinpoint what's up.
