Default need an answer.

car-1998 2.5rs with jdm ej20g out of a 1995 wrx.

*if my car has a bad coolant temp sensor......will for some reason it cause the car no not fire on a certain cylinder....?

kinda like it tells the ECU not to fire on a injector...?
i have had a problem with an injector not getting any signal from the ecu and my car has been sitting for over 7 months.
please help me out a little.

***the injector doesnt get a signal to fire just this one stupid injector and it is causing my car to run on 3 cylinders!
we tried just running a straight wire from the ecu and it did nothing, so that eliminated the possibility of there being a cut in the harness some where.***

also we have even tried another ECU out of the same year (1995) wrx and it did the same, and also a apexi power FC and it was still the same!

sum1 help me out please,
Andrew

a coolant temp sensor will not cause one injector to fail, have you ohmed the injector? tryed swaping it out with a different injector? you could have a cloged injector?

the injector should have constent power to one side, and the ECM switches the ground.

hope this helps some.

yeah we have switch the injector and yes there is a constant power to one side, but the ECU is like telling it there is no ground and we have tried another ecu and even a apexi power fc.

there is something causing the ecu to not ground that one injector.

if we put another injector plug where the bad one is( switching it) then it will power that cylinder........i think the problem would have to be between the wiring at the ecu and the ECU.( like in the plug in)
if you can think of anything else, just let me know.
thanks,
Andrew
