Post FS: rear 18mm swaybar from Outback

Hey guys,

First off I hope this is okay. I think listing this in the Legacy forum makes the most sense.

I have a Legacy Outback 18mm rear swaybar I would like to sell. It is dirty but I'm pretty sure has no rust or damage. This was, I think, the heaviest factory rear Legacy bar (in the US anyway). I would like $60 plus shipping. I will wash it thoroughly before shipping, but won't try to get the undercoating and stuff off of it.

Please e-mail me at d.vancleve@home.com if you are interested. I don't really trust the PM system here since the last upgrade.

Thanks, Doug

I have offers of $50 and $60 shipped. Anybody interested want to offer more? I am pretty sure shipping will be over $10 and maybe more like $20. I have learned my lesson the hard way about including shipping in the price without really knowing how much it will be...

Thanks, Doug

Anybody tell me please do I need it?

I'm going to modify my '98 Outback
for more power and better controllability,
but not sure where to start.

Thank You in advance

Bagio- if you have an Outback, then you probably have the 18mm rear bar. The 16mm bar is on the Legacy GT and L models. So no, you don't need it.

The 18mm upgrade is a great thing to do for a GT or L sedan though. A GT wagon could probably use more- like a Whiteline adj.

Thumbs up

I agree with Gumball, although it might be a decent upgrade to a regular Legacy wagon depending on what kind of handling you are after.
