FS: 1992 Subaru SVX LSL 5-Speed

I'm selling my '92 Ebony Subaru SVX 5MT LS-L 162,000 Miles

It runs and drives smooth, no chatter, no stalling, etc. The car is quick and the 5speed install was properly done, unlike some of the hack-jobs I've seen. The transmission is from a 2002 2.5RS and has under 3000 miles on it since the install. As it's hydraulic, the new owner will never have to adjust the clutch and the pedal feel is better than a cable clutch setup. The clutch is tight but precise and you have plenty of pedal feel. The car drives like it should have from the factory, the shifts are smooth and quick, and the car accelerates on a whim.

Maintenence has been kept up. The motor has 162,000 miles on it but you wouldn't know it. It purrs like it did when it came off the showroom floor. It's been resealed with new valve cover gaskets and front seals and doesn't leak a drop. I have always used synthetic in everything from the engine to the transmission to the rear diff.

The Interior was completely stripped during the install to keep from getting grime on the seats and suede. The interior is gray leather with suede accents and has held up very well over the years. No rips or tears, but there is some wear on the drivers seat. The drivers side visor droops a bit, so I keep it forward, but the passenger one is fine.

All factory power features work and all interior lights are there. The cruise switch has to be pressed a couple of times, but it does come on and the cruise control does work with the manual transmission as it would from the factory. The factory security module works and I have one fob for it. The car has the original stereo and speakers, as I was more concerned with performance than sound during the build.

The exterior of the car isn't bad, but it's not the greatest either. It has a couple dings on the roof from the p/o's acorn tree and a few little dings around the rest of the body. Waxed up they are hardly noticible. I'll let pictures do most of the talking here.

There is a barely visable chip on the windshield that's been there since I got the car. It was repaired and hasn't spread in the two years I've owned the car. It's not in the swipe of the wipers.
