Default How good is 93 Infinity J30? Opinion?

There is a guy selling 93 Infinity J30 with 140k miles for $800. It has some cosmetic issues (dent, scratch, etc), but overall car is decent in terms of mechanical condition.

Beside some cosmetic stuff, dash light isn't working, which can be fixed rather easily. Options include leather and CD changer.

Should I just buy this car and fix it up? If I hadn't bought my miata 3 weeks ago, I would have jumped on this deal.

It's an extremely slow car with a tiny trunk. You get the same engine that was in the base 300ZX, but it's underpowered for the vehicle weight. The analog clock and interior was pretty nice though.

+1 for re-learning how to read time off an analog device.

I was thinking it was the maxima, but I knew the I30 was the maxima and the G20 was the sentra.

there's a growing number of subaru/nissan owners.....just picked up a 92 se-r...

Altima is FWD and J30 is RWD, using many 300ZX mechanicals (except for the two turbos).

Decided not to get it due to maintenance cost. For some reason, I love that body style!
