Wink exhaust

I wanted to know what the best looking exhaust sys. for the Impreza RS is, pictures and links would be nice.

so far the only ones that i have seen are the greddy evo, apexi n1, and the jc sports one by n1, but i haven't seen any of them installed, if you have any pics please post them for me. thanx.

I like the look of the dual tip Brullen myself (probably similar to the Stromung). I know if you do a search for Brullen that there are pictures of it before and after install on a 2000 RS.

People don't usually buy exhausts on "LOOKS" they usually buy them for Performance.

Well I'm sure phish is interested in performance too, but some people don't care much. They want something that looks nice. I wouldnt buy a ****ty looking exhaust that performed perfectly. Thats my personal opinion. I'd also like to know what they all look like mounted. I'm pretty sure they are all pretty comparable performance wise. At least within two or three horses. Chill

omg... that last one is a cantaloupe launcher...

sorry... i'm in it more for performance than looks... just my humble opinion... do what you want... it's your car... just make sure it's what you really want... cause those get expensive as all get out..

hey midnx03, is your color realyly Fire Engine Red, or brilliant red? The Stomung I think has got a good overall package, looks decently stock, nice low rumble and decently priced.

I've got the Ver. 6 muffler -- it's not as intrusive as the other ones, I don't think, but that's just a personal preference:

The STi one looks nice. It's really quiet, not much louder than stock. FYI, the new bodystyle Impreza exhausts are not compatable with the GC8 exhausts. (unless you like to weld )

So what is a exhaust that sound nice also have the performance too?

ScoobySport has the best sound, its bigger than stock but its not a melon launcher, its hand-made, has reasonable performance increase (especially on a turbo car) , but its expensive though !

auricom, I got my STi muffler and custom midpipe (2.25) from Mike Shields at SPD for $400. I got mine just in time though, it was one of his last ones. I don't think he's selling these anymore.

Got my exhaust at the end of April. You might want to check Euro or Japanese Impreza car clubs. I don't know of any though. The STi exhaust came stock on their WRXs. I bet they have STi exhausts just getting dusty in their garages because 2.25 is too small for turbo cars (but good for our NA cars). Good luck finding one.

Hey auricom:

I got mine slightly used (less than 150 miles, I think) off a guy that bought it off Mike Shields as well. Rumour has it that he is indeed out of them, unfortunately...
