Default 2004 WRB WRX sedan with 2006 stock WRX wheels

Before:

After my track day on January 14, 2006 at which I put even more wear on my S-03's, I decided to put the Prodrive P1's into storage and put on a set of 2006 stock WRX wheels.

EDIT: The new wheels are going to be my beater/daily driver/LA commute wheels. The P1's will probably only be used for HPDE's and other spirited driving from now on. After the "wonderful" RE92's wear out, I plan on putting Pirelli P Zero Nero M+S tires on them.

God bless,
Loren

I had Steve (and a few of his friends) at Aerosim Research, Ltd. (www.aerosim-research.com) in Costa Mesa, CA install the 4-pot/2-pot brakes back in January 2005 in conjunction with Prodrive springs, Group N STi strut tops, and Goodridge brake lines. Who would've thought Subaru would do something that made sense and put the 4-pot/2-pot brakes on the 2006 USDM WRXs?!

God bless,
Loren

More than Prodrive springs?

Personally, I'm a function over form kinda guy. Thanks for the comment though. After all, that's why I created this thread. If I didn't want to hear what I thought some of you out there might be thinking, I sholdn't have made the thread in the first place. I figured there are some people who have done the 4-pot conversions that might be thinking about doing the same thing. My stock 2004 WRX wheels and tires will be going up for sale soon!

God bless,
Loren

Where did you get the 06 rims? And if you do not mind me asking, how much were they? Thanks in advance!

I bought them locally here in Southern California for $600 (wheels+tires).
