Post Legacy '00-'01 Mods...

Hey folks,

I'm going to be getting an '01 H6 Legacy GT Limited when they finally come out and are curious as to what mods you guys would suggest for it? I'm thinking of stut brace(s) for the front, does the '00 take a rear strut brace, since it doesn't have any strut towers. Also any suggestions for beefing up the rear suspension cause I'll be putting a trailer hitch to tow an aprox. 2000lb boat.

Eventually I'll likely add in:

Turbo or SC
HID headlights or Hella bulbs
Skid plates (front&rear)
15" steel rims with snow tires(wintertime)

HOw about some g/2 6061-T6 aluminum sway bar end links to really activate the sway bar. I have 3 sets in stock that will fit the legacy, impreza and forester. the point of getting a larger swaybar is to prevent body roll and decrease understeer as well. but if the stock end link flexes, it doesnt matter how large your new swaybar is. e mail me for pics and prices if interested thanks g/2

Greg, don't think the Impreza links work on the 2K Legacy. They are straight not the "U" shape. But I could be wrong.

Well, Paisan,

My suggestion would be a replacement panel filter as soon as you find out the size. Either AMSOIL (foam) or K&N (gauze) {your choice} to open up the breathing. It makes a huge difference in our 2.5l engines, I would guess it would hold true for the H6.

As for the strut braces, I think that is primarily eye-candy. I'd go after the struts/shocks first, maybe springs as well.

A stiffer (read: larger) anti-roll bar in the back would likely add a bit more stiffness and control that you're looking for.

Oh yeah. Get a wagon. Wagons are COOL!
