Cheap wheel center cap solutions.

I just purchased a set of '04 STi BBS takeoffs, but they didn't come with center caps. I called the dealer and they want $65.99 EACH for the BBS centercaps. Does anyone have a cheaper solution or should I just leave the caps off? I tried the centercaps from my '99 RS 5 spoke wheels and they almost fit, but not quite.

The guy I bought them from didn't have the center caps.

They came on his '04 STi which he built a Group N Rally Car out of. The centercaps got lost somewhere during the project according to him.

I wouldn't worry about the caps, do you have a pic of the wheel as it is now? You could always measure the diameter and see if you can pick up a different kind of cap to fit in there.

See if the Rota centercaps fit, and get some solid-colored ones.

Thanks a bunch express_wagon! Just curious, but does anyone know if i would run into any problems if i ran without centercaps or if the centercaps are there just for looks?

You won't have a problem at all running without caps. Only on one set of the 5 or 6 sets of wheels I've had on the Subaru have had centercaps and no problems whatsoever.
