Default Coil pak question need help fast!

Long story short My friend blew up his sandrail motor with a old ej20

He is swaping a long block from a 01 JDM ej20.

The coils from the old ej20 will not fit 2 bolts verses 1 offset on the new motor!

Is there anyway to get 3 wire coil paks to work on 2 wire coil pak system!
Thanks kevin

Josh,
unless I am mistaken, the current COP is a 2 wire set up. That's what Kevin is getting at. I have been wanting to explore this for use on my EJ20G, but haven't found the time. I think it may be as simple as switching to EJ205 valve covers and then the newer coils will bolt right up...

the old ej20g is blown! so we took a 2000 RSKB4 long block and transfered everything from the ej20G. the link set up on the ej20g used the 2 wire 2 bolt coilpaks the New motor uses the 3 wire 1 bolt coilpaks, the cost to purchase 2 wire 1 bolt coilpaks is over $500, I am just trying to find a solution!
