Default Capturing Data w/UTEC Help!

I have a UTEC and after data logging I am trying to save the the data in the Hyper terminal menu. I am selecting:

1.Transfer Capture Text
2.I name file and press start
3.CTRL S and nothing happens I thought "Finished" should appear

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks
H

1. Start with the UTEC in the home menu.
2. Go to the Hyperterminal tool bar and select "Transfer" then "Capture Text"
3. Enter your file name (I suggest you add the extension .csv)
4. Press "Start"
5. Back in the home menu press "<shift> 1" or whichever logger you want. The <shift> will give you a comma delimiter output. Also you can use the space bar to stop and start the log.
6. Once you have captured enough data then got to the Hyperterminal tool bar and select "Transfer" and then "Capture Text". Press "Stop"
7. Your data will be in the file location you had previously selected. If you added the .csv extension you can open it using Excel.

regards
Pete
