Post Salvaging Bigger Breaks?

I thought that I read somewhere that the old legacy turbo's had 4-caliper breaks? If thats true, I was thinking that one could goto a salvage yard pick some up and throw them on a newer legacy. Just an idea. Does anyone know if it would work or if it would increase stoping power? I was just thinking maybe it would be a cheaper alternative than buying the expensive break kits that companies like SPD sell. Any thoughts?

Matt

The calipers are just 2 pot but the rear has the vented rotors which no RS or GT has. I have a set waiting for my project Impreza. On my 95 Legacy Sedan I used the rears from a 92 Legacy to replace the drums and make it 4 wheel disk.

We sell the parts (Used) to do these jobs also.
