My co-worker might be interested in your car. Would you consider bringing it back to stock? She's going to talk to her husband tonight and will email you directly.

Sure that can be done no problem. I would think $100 for everything would be good. The tank and pump alone was more then that. If you are interested Brent let me know. Thank you, Rob

It's still a great price! My friend has decided to look for a wagon. Good luck with your sale.

Rob,

Hopefully you'll work something out and be able to keep the car.

I can vouch that this car's a beauty and hasn't been beat on at all. Paint could be questionable as he washes it 3 times/week

Bump for a good guy selling a VERY nice car.

That's that "next county over" relationship you've got going (still I think).

Gotta get her closer to D-Town.

Actually Bill I am going to be moving up there soon. Cheaper gas, cheaper insurance and cheaper cost of living all around. I pay $3.07 for premium up there compared to around $3.40 down home.

Someone buy my car

Does anyone think 18,000 is way too much to ask?

$18K seems about right for posting the classified on this site. Those here likely know or could quickly research the mods.

Outside of a Subaru forum however, it looks like KBB is rating it at:

Private Party: $16,000
Trade-In: $13,000

Mods detract from the value because of the unknown...the quality of the parts, installation and reliabilty.

So what are you planning on getting into? FWIW we just bought an '04 Forester XT with a hair under 27K for $18,000 from a Subaru Dealer.

i just got an STI for not much more than that...

and my car will be selling for under 13k, though mine isnt in anywhere near as good of condition as yours is and i have over double the milage you do.

its a damn nice car, someone will pick it up. just dont forget to entertain slightly lower offers.

Rob,

Have you tried eBay or Cars.com? Even putting a For Sale sign in the window (though the ARE tinted).

You'll find a buyer because your car IS well kept but like Brent said it's all about negotiating.

The part that is sucky and tricky is that I owe 17,500 on the car. I refinanced it for what it was worth awhile back so I could afford the monthly payment. So if I sell it to someone I need to get at least that. The other $500 would be for some POS car to get to and from work. I guess at the moment I am stuck with this car until I get it paid down more. Someone here offered me 16 for it but I can't come up with the rest of the money to pay it off.

Thanks for the replies guys
