I was considering replacing my springs to Prodrives or ver8 jdm sti pink takeoffs but now I've almost talked myself into purchasing coilovers.
I was hoping to get your thoughts on the quality, longevity etc on the following Cusco Zero-2E & E-Con Package Whiteline Group 4 DMS 40mm Gold Adjustable Shocks I know I can get the DMS suspension from Rocket Rally but does anyone know where I can get the other coilovers and how much they might cost to purchase and install? PS. it's for a 06 STI thanks

Zero-2E are $2,279 USD plus shipping/handling.
Add in the E-con and it is an additional $459USD. You already know about the DMS so I won't mention those. Whiteline are $2729USD. The Whiteline's cost more than the DMS40mm's and offer less performance so IMO I would discount those. Cusco makes a good product but for the roads we have here it would not be my first choice. |

For the whiteline group 4s, here is a good review by subie gal
http://www.subiegal.com/images/car%2...necoilover.htm They have a used one at Pdm racing for a 05 STi, not sure if it'll fit the 06s?? I have cusco zero 2R sitting in my room, their quality is top notch!! They're so nice that I don't want to install them yet ![]() |

they are all very different products. i would suggest driving them first and then deciding. or ask someone who has driven on them all (not me because everyone will say I am biased, but you can stand to think that there may be a reason behind that). the ride quality, for different situations, differs in the extreme.
some are more for 'street look' where others are more for 'road performance' where other is more for 'very smooth road/track'. you can figure out which one pretty much by the brand and where they come from. as for subie gals' review, she also has a certain brand on her own car which I won't mention :-) |

Budget also plays a big part at this price point. Longevity depends on the use. But suffice to say, they each have their own strengths in different areas. as for subie gals' review, she also has a certain brand on her own car which I won't mention :-) |
