Default Done the research on STi swap ... should I add JDM to the picture?

I'm finally going to swap in the US 2.5 short block into my 02 WRX. Are there any parts I should look into on the JCM side to add to the swap? I am currently in Japan and can get parts for a good price if I know what I'm looking for. I am currently inquiring about a VF38 set-up; what else should I look into.

I do know there is an STi FPR that I should get but I can't find the thread about it, something about better than the US version of the same part ... anything else?

the twin scroll setup would be easy to do if you are shortblocking. at least the oil pan swap will be much the easy. perhaps just the turbine and header you should pick up in JDM land, everything else is easily found here ( ithink)

If you are going to have 2.5l, a vf38 would be way too small of a turbo. If i were you i would find some JDM heads while you are over there.

yeah. i think a lot of peopel would love you for some JDM v7/8 heads.

if you can snag a TOMEI intake manifold lemme know......

Been searching for that intake but cant find one. I will try another city and see what I can come up with. I wish I was closer to the Suby plant to get the "good stuff".
