Default need help... 04' cobb ap questions...

Hey guys,

Just wanted to ask. I'm in the market for an cobb ap and a guy selling a an 04' ap told me that it is interchangeble with an 05' wrx. The 04' is also off a wrx. He said something about downloading maps from cobb to make it functional for the 05'. Is this true??? I really need to know before I purchase this thing and I get stuck with an AP that I can't use. Any input would help.

yeah, i'm pretty sure it's compatible, it just needs to have it's firmware updated. if in doubt just give cobb a call, they'll give you all the details you need.

Yes, it's compatible with the '05. They had the '04 and '05 combined into one map awhile ago, but they broke it back out after people were getting stalling issues. Just make sure you have the newest maps, and you'll be good to go.
