Andy is an awesome knowledgable guy. We race together at Cecil and I see him from time to time in the Elkton/Newark area. I have the utmost respect for his tuning abilities.

As far as I know, he's tuned his STi from day one on his own and had one of the fastest "nearly" stock times I know of, one of the fastest VF39 times around and has cracked into the 11s with his Green... all the while innovating with air2water set-ups, oil seperators, among other things.

Thanks. That sounds about similar to what Altered Atmosphere gets on a stock '04 STI on their dynojet (~240-245whp).

Have you dyno'd any stock '06 WRXs yet?

5sp 2006- 205whp, 225wtq. That is not accounting for the lean spike that occurs on the dyno before it falls out of closed loop, the peak torque readings are higher with the spike.

Auto 2006- 197whp, 205wtq. That same car after a mild, and I mean MILD tune(only running 14psi, no additional timing and running at 11:1) was 216whp, 237wtq.

Nice. Those are the first numbers I've seen for an auto '06.

Xotic is truly a stand-up place and if I was the type of guy who let others work on my car, I wouldn't hesitate to take it there.

My buddy had his rear bumper on his S4 melt partially while on the dyno there (Xotic was at completely no fault) it just was too close to the exhaust with no air moving over it. They offered to repair it no cost or give him free runs because they forgot to have him sign the waiver before running. This shows great responsibility and customer service because they are professionals, not just some punk kids that started a shop.

That's my car actually and its a blast to drive. I'm going back to have a rear swaybar installed and am seriously thinking of having it retuned more aggressively.

I am pretty sure I was the first EcuTek dealer to flash an 06 auto.

Default 250hp/255tq tuned to 277hp/314tq

Andy is a true professional and will tune the car to your specific goals and ambitions. He tuned mine for lapping events so it is on the conservative side but that is what I asked for and he delivered. I have only a CAT back and Andy's tune with EcuTek. Stock was 250hp 255tq after tune 277hp and 314tq. The car run smooth as stock and is wicked quick. He believes it could run 12.6/12.7.
