Default Questions about swapping ECUTEK ECU's

I am curious as to how much each ECUTEK reflashed ecu effects each car differently.
For example I'm considering trading my stock turbo, injectors, and ECU for a VF22, Pinks, and Harman tuned ECUTEK. We both have turbobacks, uppipes, and blitz intakes. But I happen to have a slightly larger TMIC (His: Sti, Mine: BPM) and a lightweight pulley. Is this difference in parts enough to give me bad air fuel readings? Or am I just worrying about minor parts that won't really matter in the tune.
Something in the back of my mind is saying that even with identical mods each car will react differently to a tuned ECU hopefully not enough to be damaging to the engine. Am I right?

Even the same parts on a different engine may yield different results.

Depending on how aggressive the tune is, it may cause problems due to these variations. I guess you could try it, get some datalogs and see how things look. I would at least plan for the case where you may need a retune. Maybe you will get lucky, though.

Also take into fact, mileage on the car and maintenence. His engine may have more wear and tear, or vise versa.
