Map switching

i recently got an ap.

i was able to load my base map no problem.

how do i load real time maps (the vallet and anti theft)?

do i still need to connect the green test wires underneith column or do i just plug in and go to switch map. car on or car off. ignition on or off. there werent any instructions

Just go plug it in - no connectors.

However, there ARE insutrctions on Cobb's website...

I found the instructions thanks.

What map do I switch to if:

I loaded my stage 2 93 base map. Than I load the real time vallet map. To load back to stage 2 93 do I than pick the realtime stage 2 93 map?

I only ask becasue I know there are subtle differences between the realtime and base stage 2 maps.

You can switch back to the 93 stage 2 map, but also, as I believe it, you can reset the ECU and it will go to the base map stage 2 and let your car learn. The real time map is essentially a map loaded to the portion of your ecu that does the learning.
