Subaru Stars Please Help!! RS to Version 7 sti

Hi, i myself have money issues like everyone else and are unable to get an sti so i'm looking for a 98 to 01 RS with high mileage to do a swap with a version 7 sti. This new 2.0L engine has more power so obviously other parts will need to be upgraded, tranie..... So if anyone can help me figure out what else i would have to do to a stock 98 RS to get this kickass engine in and working properly I would greatly appreciate it.

p.s. would the version 7 engine just bolt right into the RS or am i looking at more work for myself.

there's been a million threads regarding swaps in this forum, there is a nice write done by me on the needs of a USDM WRX swap which isgoing to be similar to a v7 swap. I suggest using the search feature

if you have money issue, here is a piece of information. My 99RS with V7 STI engine and tranny swap ended up costing $7K car + $15K for parts. And I did all the work myself.

That includes though things like complete exhaust, sti interion, ect...

Maybe WRX swap is better for you if you low on cash money.
