Post Exhaust Problems!!!!

Hey Guys,

The exhaust system on my wife's 98 Legacy is in need of repair. There is a crack in the welded joint between the Cat and the resonator (atleast it looks like a resonator). Has anyone had this problem? What do you think this is going to cost me to fix it? I know a few manufacturers make performance mufflers but does anyone make a performance exhaust kit that replace the system from the Y-pipe back rather than replacing it with OEM parts? Looking for some guidance. Thanks.

I had one of my cats and the resonator (99 Legacy GT) completely removed and fitted a 2.5" pipe from the first cat back to the muffler. I used all original mounting brackets. Total cost for pipe & weld (not muffler) was around $150 I think - (it's been a while)

If you'd like more info, email me. There are other options and I know the some of the other guys have done diff. types of exhaust work...

best of luck to ya!!
