Default Attn: White STi stolen

One of our customers' White 05 STis was stolen.

This car is very fast, over 400hp at the crank, has APS FMIC so its fairly easy to recognize. If you see anything that resembles this or parts for sale including FPGreen, APS parts or other, please call or email patr@rocketrally.com or 604 892 0151

p.s. and if anyone asks, no its not the one I posted in the Dyno forum

Thanks

I think I saw a white STi on Nelson towards Cambie bridge yesterday late night. It's quite loud (hence caught my attention).

There's a guy on TSC with a bunch or parts for sale really cheap out of Montreal. Green ($950 Cdn), APS 725 FMIC ($900 Cdn), etc.

The prices are almost too good and it's odd that they show up 3 days after a Green'd, APS FMIC'd STi is stolen in Van.

May be a crazy coincidence, but worth looking into.

Any progress so far? That TSC want ad is pretty coincidental, although the ad says the parts are off of an 02 WRX.

Kinda hard to beleive that would be the one when he's been a member for over 3 years, its a 5spd tranny parting out, and everything is listed for a 2002 wrx.....

Interestingly, I saw a white STi parked at the back of a police station a couple days ago. I think a cop drives one

VPD did NOT buy any STi's.....they were given a Blue RS (By ICBC) to test for traffic work about 4 years ago....that is all there is to that story!! After I drove it at work I went out and bought one for myself
Oh yeah...BTW it was and automatic

VPD has a Ford Focus "Community Policing" car that was also donated.....If he is going to keep "Smokin'" that stuff he should NOT be standing by any police cars

Scooby fan, you posted your Police con-inlaw's car on the web...with his licence plate showing. I'm thinking that may not be the best idea.

Hey! I think that's it. It had the silver BBS too. Does he work in Surrey?

Thanks, I'll pay attention to the license plate if I ever see it again.

I wouldn't spend too much time looking for the car or the licence plate.....he sold it a month or so ago I would not have put the picture out there if he still had the car or that plate number.
For the info of all the people out there,,,,, the police dep'ts in the area do NOT buy these "Odd ball" police cars...they are donated by dealers looking for sales or by ICBC for special duties.....they are all short term deals that require the cars to be returned to the real owners.
