Header back? You know that you cant use the header/uppipe/downpipe right? You can use the midpipe and muffler with slight modificaiton though.

even with just using the midpipe you'll have to make it fit since the legth will be different and the hanger at the back of the axle back will not mate up to the RS hanger

I think you should sell it to me for $160 and make $10....I could use it on the my daily driver forester

I know someone in FL w/RS that might be getting rid of thier Greddy exhaust soon.

the length will be close. It was my experience fitting a WRX exhaust (cat back) to a '98 RS that the cat mating flange had to be clocked about 10 degrees.

cut pipe, weld, done.

wrx and impreza L's, RS's use same length of piping(with one hanger thats missing in front). should bolt up fine with minimal rotating prob's.

front exhausts are different because wrx headers and n/a headers are different(duh). length is same, mounts/hangers are same with excep. of missing front hanger. it fits as it would in a wrx(same chassis), forester. i didn't say your front flange is in the same spot as your turbo flange would be did i? kostamojen is dead on it fits with the right intermediate pipe made. >$50 at local muffler shop(free at my house)!

-you had to have a pipe made because you couldn't do it yourself!

OK, your previous statement made it sound like it he didn't need to do anything extra, that it would bolt right up w/minimal effort

just the front portion needs matched. cat back from either car uses same hangers. obviously headers are diff. being turbo vs. n/a. that is where you'll need a diff front pipe matched to where your cat(or no cat) is basically. hope this helps clear things up!
everyone- take a welding class at a local vocational skool for your basic needs. 300-1000 bucks and you'll weld for life. mig, tig, oxy, cnc, etc is all learned easily here. you'll use more rods stick welding than some courses cost.mine was $330 with book!
