Default Need wiring help

alright, so ive about had it with my swap, ive mostly whined on legacy central, but havent got anywhere over there, so here it is.

first of all, its an EJ22T in a 1995 impreza. we did a hack job of wiring by modifying the 1.8 harness to plug into the EJ22t, but all of the wires get to the ECU correctly. please dont tell me i shouldnt have wired it that way, because i already know

so it "starts" but it idles at 2000-3000, and is beyond lean, i can hear/smell how terribly lean it is. things i could read from the ECU that are alarming are the 44* of timing advance

MAF and injector pulse width SEEM to be in spec, the 1.8 fuel pump is in there (ill change it soon) but that shouldnt effect fuel pressure at idle correct?

here the BIGGEST problem, my TPS signal is backwards... it is supposed to go from 4.7V at fully closed to 1.6V fully open, when properly wired it goes from 5.10 to 5.02 when i measure the resistance it goes from 3ohm-12ohm gradually. both TPS's ive tried do exactly the same thing. when i was idling it the TPS was unplugged.

big issue #2- the 02 sensor. can i use my imprezas sensor with the legacy ecu? they are both 3 wire but they look a little different.

can anyone tell me what the wires are on the sensors that have 1 black and 2 white wires? is black signal, and the white ones are power and ground? are the white ones interchangeable..?

sorry to blab on, but these are my problems right now, and i cant seem to figure it out myself! thanks for any help.

nobody...? anything?

ok a cliff notes version:
answer the fuel pump question- even though it doesnt make sense to me, would having a 1.8L fuel pump with the 2.2T ECU make it run rich at idle?

and are the 02 sensors the same?

thanks

I can't say for sure, but I doubt it. Turbo o2s almost always read over seperat voltages.

yeah i figured it wouldnt...

the O2 sensor looks a little different i just thought that they all give 1v signal's...

i tapped power and ground to random wires in the engine bay, and left the signal shielded.

ok, so any ideas about the TPS!?

it makes sense that i might just have ground and signal switched... BUT ive checked it a million times...

weird thing with the legacy electrical system is that out of the ECU the ground wire is WHITE and signal is BLACK, then it goes through the conjuction and they change colors........... i have a diagram somewhere where it shows this. unless i read it wrong, and josh said the same thing i believe. soooooooooo maybe ill just try swapping them back again. i know the power and idle switch are correct. i even sheilded the whole wire from ecu to sensor...
