Default 04 sti ecu can fit in 05 wrx???

Any 1 can advise what benefit i can gain from this? Is this plug & play mod ?

What? Why? What makes you think that this would be a good idea? I am curious. Did you swap motors or something?

If you think that this would even work and would give you better performance through the ECU, then why not just protune or EcuTek your stock ECU?

The 04 STi ECU can fit in an 05 WRX, but it's not plug & play. The wiring harnesses are different and the 05 WRX doesn't have AVCS heads or a 2.5L engine, which would make the 04 STi ECU very unhappy.

Another reason it won't work is the DBW in the Sti. And they use different conectors.
It "might" work for an 06 WRX, but I don't know if it has been tried yet.
