Cool GTECH number for my 97GT

Hi all,

Received my GTECH pro yesterday and did a little test:

120hp with 3200lb (still don't know the exact weight of my car after reading the manual; I weight 170lb)
0-60 in 8.9sec (1k rpm start; one time/direction only)

Only mod is K&N panel filter.

What about your number??

later..

Ernie

1krpm start!?! Drive it like you hate it!! Drop the clutch at about 5500rpm and that 0-60mph time will come down to 8.1 or 8.2sec.

I don't have any GTech times, but my '99GT ran the 1/4mile in 16.027 @ 83.56mph. Try and do a 1/4mile run for comparison. Just be advised that for some reason the GTech gives trap speeds that are too high. Quite a few guys in the Mustang world have used them, and the time is pretty close - within 0.1 or 0.2sec - but the trap speed is about 2 or 3mph faster than what they actually run at a track.

I gotta get one of those things to play with!!
