Default Rays Gram Lights 57F 17x8.5 +45 AND 225/45/17 Dunlop SP Super Sport Race R Comp Tires

Before I post this up on the general for sale classifieds, I wanna give you local guys a chance to jump on this. Well, that and I REALLY don't wanna ship this stuff..

Anyhow, here's the lowdown. I ordered these 57F's for my GC but alas it doesn't fit. It will, however, fit on any GD car ( ) with the exception of the 5x114.3 PCD'd ones since these are 5x100.

These Gram Lights are pretty much the best deal you can get from the Rays foundry. The 2nd lightest wheel Rays makes (next to the CE28N) and these 17x8.5's weigh only 16lbs each. Yes, they are FORGED. I had to special order these wheels since Mackin does NOT, and will NEVER stock these wheels. If you want to get them later, expect to wait at least 60-90 days and even then, it's not guranteed.

Also, these wheels are not used. They are BRAND NEW IN BOX and come with the Rays valve stems and Gram Lights sticker set which I haven't put on yet.

Check em out:

PM me if you're interested. I'm looking to get around $1700 since they are new but it's always negotiable. Lowballers can DIAF. Again, 17x8.5 +45 in BRONZE

Next up is a set of BRAND NEW, UNMOUNTED, Dunlup SP Super Sport Race tires that I was going to use on said Gram Lights 57F. A true R-Compound competition tire. The stickiest of the icky. 225/45/17's.... Oh ya, can't get these in the US anymore (at least in this size) which is sad because it's honestly one of the best tires I've been on. Google it for more info. Looking to get $500 for the set of 4.

Again, PM me for any questions etc...

Thanks guys.

Francis

it might help some people if you mention offset. Also... 650 is quite a bit for that tire.

I mentioned it in the thread title... and in the post. I'll update my post so you can see it more clearly.

Anyhow the offset is +45.

Well, the price for the tires are negotiable...I just put 650 so we have room to work with.

No worries.

Ya, +45 is pretty aggressive. Actually, its not the offset that's the problem...it's the width. On any other car becides a GD WRX or STi, it just won't clear w/o the use of some hammers and spacers. Both of which I shun (well, maybe not the hammers but the spacers - yuk).

8.5 width and +48 would fit on a LGT just fine. Buddy has one with 245/35s... the thing is.. it needs camber in the front to look decent.

Negative captain!

In order to make these fit, I'd need a 15mm spacer in the rear. On top of that, I've got to be VERY aggressive with the camber. And that's just for clearance on the inside. To clear the fender, I'd have to roll AND pull the fender. On a 4 door GC, it's difficult to do so because the rear door is kinda in the way for pulling...

If I had a coupe, I would've done it in a heartbeat. Then I could pull the crap out of the fender and be cool.

All in all, it's just too much work. I'd just rather get my cash back and get a set of wheels that are less aggressive.

Nice!

I HAD a coupe but I sold it and got a 93 4 door...biggest mistake of my life (getting another Subaru that is lolz).

Anyhow, back to the task at hand. SOMEONE BUY THESE WHEELS/TIRES! Check these pics out(not mine but a fellow member's):

This is one of the hottest GD bodied cars I have EVER seen in my life...
