Default Question about o2 sensor

hey, i have a 1997 subaru impreza L and i bought a racing chip for it that has to be hooked up to an 02 sensor. when i went to hook it up, i realized that my car doesnt have one. is there anyway i can buy one and put it in, or am i screwed? thanks for the help.

Save up for a 2.0L JDM STi engine swap

yea thats what i eventually want to do, but then id have to swap from auto to manual, and i dont have all that cash right now. im just trying to get as much hp out of this motor as i can.

Your car does have an o2 sensor. It's in the "Y" before the cat.
But...send the racing chip back and buy a KnN drop in panel, take out the silencer and do an exhaust....oh yeah and save up for a swap...better yet save up for a wrx If you want to go fast.
You might want to look in the N/A forums for some advice too.

ok thanks for the help man, yea i have borla exhuast and headers on right now. how much more power should i get with the drop in panel?
