Default NJ: Considering f/s: $12k, '02 PSM WRX w/18g,FMIC, Cusco Zero 2R coilovers, much more

Hey Tri-Staters, I'm considering selling one of my WRXs, since owning 3 WRXs is pretty rediculous. I'd take $12k (non-negotiable) for the car, and am not interested in trades, since I have seven cars at the moment. The car is a 2002 PSM WRX sedan with extensive mods, VIN # JF1GD29652G518823. I have no pics, but could get some soon. I was planning to return it to stock and sell off the mods separately, as it has over $12k in mods alone, but I've been working 70-80 hours/week consistently, and recently bought a new home, and am now open to just unloading the car, as the time and effort to demod the car are more than I can handle right now. The buyer could easily part the car out and make a couple thousand $$$. It currently has 98k miles on it, and to this day it has never had any problems, and it fires right up and runs very strongly. The car has a nice rear bumper paint scuff from the original owner backing into something, and someone in a parking lot gave the passenger side front fender a tennis ball sized ding recently

The mod list is extensive and follows:

Engine:
AutoSpeed Up-pipe
AutoSpeed Downpipe
AutoSpeed Cat-back
AutoSpeed Lightweight Crank Pulley
AutoSpeed FMIC and Intake
FP-18G (oil and water cooled) 5k miles on the turbo
Samco Turbo Inlet Tube
Perrin Fuel Rails
PE-650 Fuel Injectors
Walbro 255 Fuel Pump
TXS UTEC
TXS Type-H BOV
Denso Iridium IK22 spark plugs
Joe P manual boost controller

Engine Dress UP:
AutoSpeed Radiator Shroud (polished)
AutoSpeed Wastgate Solenoid Cover (polished)
AutoSpeed Battery Block (polished)

Transmission/Drivetrain:
Kartboy Short Shifter
Karterboy Shifter Bushings
Spec Stg. 3i (6 puck Iron)
Cusco Solid Tranny Mount

Suspension/Brakes/Wheels:
Cusco Zero-2R Coilovers
STI ReplicaFront strut tower bar
STI replica Rear strut tower bar
EBC Slotted and Dimpled rear rotors
EBC green stuff pads all around
Calipers painted red

Interior:
Autometer A-piller 3 gauge
Autometer Phantom Boost EGT gauge
Autometer Phantom Boost gauge
Autometer Phantom Voltmeter
AutoSpeed Dead Pedal (OEM look)
AutoSpeed Shifter trim

Exterior:
STI wing
STI Hood Scoop
STI Front Grill
STI pink I badge
AutoSpeed Bumper Trim
Trunk De-badged
Black Chrome “altezza” Taillights

The car is still running on the tune from the prior 16g, and should be re-tuned for the present setup, as well as having the utec setup to control boost, although the Joe P controls boost just fine right now. The car has had the oil changed every ~4k miles since new with Mobil one.

Also, to add incentive for prospective buyers:

I also have other items on hand, that I could include at blow out prices IF YOU BUY THE CAR. Please note, I am not willing to sell these items separately at this time, so please don't ask

-Black leather front/rear seats; very nice and refined, transforms the interior of the car: $450 extra IF YOU BUY THE CAR

Choose one of either:
-2004 STi wheels (silver) w/tires (7k on the set): $750 extra IF YOU BUY THE CAR

or
-17X7 jdm Legacy b4 5 spoke wheels (silver color) w/tires (20k mi): $600 extra IF YOU BUY THE CAR...these are very rare wheels, and look extremely sharp. See pic at the very bottom here: http://www.subaruparts.com/catalog/?section=818

Also available:
2004 STi sideskirts (PSM) - $50 IF YOU BUY THE CAR

These upgrades are to sweeten the deal for potential buyers, and are not available for separate resale (do I sound like a broken record? lol).

Please contact me via email or my cell w/any questions (no PMs). Car can be seen by appointment. I'm located in southern NJ. The car is at my place near Philly, in Sicklerville, NJ. I run my own business and work 7 days/week, so my time is very limited; serious inquiries only.

Thanks,

Mark

I clarified the original post, as I want $12k for the car. I'm up to seven cars now, three of which are WRX's (and I'm single and the only driver in my household) so things have gotten a bit out of hand w/my buying impulsiveness Anyway, that means I'm only interested in money deals, not trades.

Also, I'm completely down for parting the car out, but I'd only be interested in stock parts in exchange, since I'm returning it to stock in order to sell the car. Also, I have zero time these days, as I just moved into a new home, and am unpacking, doing carpet, tile, windows, etc, on top of working 7 days/week, and driving over 1000 miles/week to and from my clients. Unfortunately this means I really don't have time to de-mod the car myself, which is what I've been wanting to do.

So for now, I'm putting out a feeler to see if I can rustle up a buyer on the car fully modified.

Thanks,

Mark

For now, I have no time for part out, and based on the phone calls and emails, I wouldn't be surprised if this sells fully modd'd, since it is a pretty good deal for the buyer.

The car is pretty loud. It is louder than my show car w/the Greddy exhaust, and louder than the MRT turbo back that I had on my WRB WRX. Its probably a little quieter than the straight pipe set up w/cat and resonator that I had for one of my other WRXs. I really like the sound of this car, and am very tempted to keep the exhaust. If you don't want the car loud, you don't want this Autospeed exhaust.

I have many stock parts, and would be willing to include them if the buyer wants. The parts I have are: turbo, turbo-back exhaust, up-pipe, TMIC, turbo inlet, fuel rails, fuel injectors, crank pully, and hood scoop.

As for the power that its putting down, I couldn't tell you. As mentioned earlier, its running a tune for a 16g, and should be retuned for the new 18g, which it should do 290-300 whp on. With my previous 18g'd WRB WRX, I layed down 290 whp on pump gas, but that was with a stock STi tmic. This car could do a little more, since it has the FMIC.

Thanks for your interest.

Mark

For 98,000 miles and modded? $12,000 sounds like a regular deal, if not a little much. I mean, you can get used WRX's for around $16,000 with probably 40,000 miles stock, so you are looking at over double the mileage and modifications that beat the engine down.

Not trying to be a dick to the seller, but everyone is making this out to be an amazing deal, I thought it was until I saw the mileage.

Bump for the sale.

Hey mark see your selling the car already. But i guess 3 wrxs and a few others is a little out of hand.

By the way I was the previous and original owner of the car.

As far as how loud the car is the video on www.Autospeedperformance.com under the wrx exhaust is this car and can give you a good idea.

As far as power goes the car dynod at 290 something at turbotrix with the 16g so with the 18 and a retune i would expect a little more.

hope all goes well

Frank

Yeah I did, I really don't know much about modifications for these cars. I just got into the Subaru scene, but you didn't know that modifications decrease the value of the car?

I had a ride in this car, the handling is incredible and it's pretty damn fast in the straight too. Sounds pretty mean.

Plus, for 12 grand, the buyer could part out and make some extra dough.

Its true - mods do lower the resale value of a car, expect when sold to a specific market - i.e., enthuisiasts.

I'd be interested in the coilovers depending on mileage/price.

I have a stock '02 suspension that just turned 27k.

Hey, Frank, thanks for chiming in. I think about ya every time I drive by your work on Rt. 73

I'd still consider taking 12 for it; but I'm strongly leaning towards returning to stock to make a few extra G's out of it.
