Hello All,
We are the newest Ecutek dealer in the L.A. area.
We have spent tens of thousands of dollars on a new ECUTEK license and also a new Eurobahn Superchips License. We also carry various parts including MOTUL race fluids and VP racing 103 octane gasoline.
We have done this in order to better serve the automotive community, And Consumers.(you guys!)
Our company, Dark Industries, has a satelite office located at CHURCH AUTOMOTIVE TESTING'S new 6000'sq ft. facility in Wilmington,CA just south of the 405 on the 110 FWY.
We have established a good relationship with Church Automotive Testing. Therefore, All of our ECUTEK Tuning is done by SHAWN CHURCH, One of the best tuners in the state. We have access to 3 seperate dynomometers . Two Dynopack chassis dynomometers and a Dynolog AWD dynomometer from Australia.
All Tuning is done by appointment .

Check us out at www. Dark Industries Racing.com

Yeah Lockdowne,
Are you going friday night? a couple of us might go to San Fernando Meet to check it out tonight call me if you want to go.
Tomorrow morning we are ECUTEKing a 2004 STI at 10am. you are welcome to stop by .
As far as Cobb, they will not sell their software to us so that we can tune the Accessport. Protection for their dealers.

Hoping you show up tonight. I've been looking for someone to tune an ECUTEK ecu and it would be nice to meet a local tuner.

You dont need to be a COBB dealer to be a ProTuner. Harman, AFAIK is not a cobb dealer. You should talk to AccessECU instead of COBB. I thought they were different companies.

Any Dyno Days planned?

Yes, another Vtec.net dyno day! I still have a dyno of my GS-R from '99...+13whp/+10wtq from a AEM CAI and adv. timing performed by Mr. Church himself. Good times.

Try emailing christian@cobbtuning.com I wish we had more ProTuners in the area. It's healthy competition

SubiFi,
Thanks for the e-mail. we would like to be able to help out .I spoke with SHAWN and he has e-mailed and spoke to quite a few people at COBB, all said Sorry but..NO.
Maybe if the Consumers asked for it ?

BTW we tuned a 2005 STi this morning and SHAWN managed to pull out 32 hp in the midrange and 10whp at the top, 28 Torque in the midrange and I think it was 33 Torque at the top, these are all WHEEL Horsepower numbers.
Needless to say the owner was extremely pleased.

What was their reason for not allowing you a Protuner license? This is strange.

The reason was to protect thier Vendors.
But we only want to be able to TUNE it not Sell it.!
Unfortunately, this leaves less options for the you guys, the consumer.

Oh, so you have to sell the Accessports too to get a Protuner license? Makes sense that they want more Accessports out. How many do you have to stock to become a vendor?

Good Question,
But we are not interested in selling them! Shawn only wants to accomodate his customers who have chosen to go with that engine management.
anyone?
