Default Accessport with 2,5 inch exhaust

this is not a bad thing is it???? or do it really takes 3 inches exhaust???

2.5 will be fine, try to keep it one consistent diameter from the turbo-back FTW

Cobb recommends the dp be 3". You could run stg1 though.

i know they recommend a 3 inch cause they sell a 3 inch but nowhere do they specify that it absolutely takes a 3 inch. who is running 2.5 with cobb

you can run it, trust me, don't listen to that noob. How long is the 2.5"? (how far from the turbo back is it the same diameter)

2.5" is MORE than enough on the stock turbo.

i'm running stage 2 with a 2.5 inch bosal diverted wastegate downpipe and a stock STI catback on my 04 wrx, so good so far.

I'm running a custom tune @ 18psi peak, stromung DP, stromung high flow cat, 3" -> 2.5" intermediate pipe and 2.5" scoobysport axleback and it's fine.

fwiw- the scoobysport axleback flows better than my previous 3" axleback.

Dont think there will be a problem.....I am running Invidia 3" DP --> Daddy's Flex Joint 3"-->2.5" Intermediate and a DynaFlow (STI look-a-like) Axel back....sounds GREAT....and alot quiter then 3" all the way.

I will be runing a scoobysport shorty downpipe+ stock 3rd cat+ stromung 2.5 intermediate pipe+ scoobysport axleback??? oh yeah and a catless uppipe

I would personnally get a pipe to replace the stock midpipe, with a high flow cat if necessary. That pipe will restrict you more than the stock muff, so if money is tight, do the whole DP first, then get the rest of it in 2.5" and you will be set.
