Default Engine Swap

I have a 2001 rs coupe i was wondering what would be the best choice to go for upgrading my engine. a Ej25t, or buying all the parts needed to upgrade my engine to meet my 275+hp goal. Any guidence or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

you have lots of different options.

jdm 2.0 liter (ej20g,ej207)
usdm 2.0 liter (ej205)
usdm 2.5 liter (ej257) <-STi

All easily capable of giving you the 275 mark. Although the usdm 2 liter will take some more work to get it there.
