so ive figured out somthing neat.
V1/2 DCCD: add- onto normal OG ej20g harness. 2 extra wires pinned onto plugys on inside right foot side kick panel fuseblock. V2 Sti-RA v-limited (at least my personal experiance) - same as V3/4 v3/4 DCCD: from my experiance: wiring harness is intergrated into the main bulkhead harness. who knows where the ins and outs are, i just plugged all the stuff up, but could not find the out for my switch, thus had everything wired up ex the switch. anyone share some info about the v3/4 wiring setups?

so you cant find where the switch plugs in?
if thats the case, it is on the body harness, where it goes over the driveshaft hump in front of the handbrake. |

oh
its not that. where it plugged it was not the question, the question was where the plug out for the switch is for a v3/4 setup. i just spliced in the rollybob pigtail directly to the dccd ecu where it hooks up on the older setup. if somone could share the v3/4 setup on the dccd wiring it would be useful infromation |

V2 up to V6 are all same
there is a rumour that Prodrive had some special edition not for sale, that locked the diff under full throttle I am running V3 DCCD unit on JDM 6spd with rallispec harness and V6 Type R cluster. Works like a charm |

the wiring is not all the same. as ive stated above-
V1/2 has an add on DCCD harness. my Vlimitede v2 had a ver3 style, where the dccd business was worked in Original and lost in the main bundle. my friends RA3 had the same setup. did you piece your setup togeather, or pull the clip yourself? im assuming you pieced it with rallispec parts, that is not oem from a car. thanks for the info though, it confirms what ive been hearing. im assuming you bought this?: ? DCCD Control Kit ? RST-1100kit Subaru 5MT & 6MT w/ DCCD $867 Control kit includes all parts necessary to make the STi Driver Controlled Center Diff. functional. Kit includes genuine STi control unit, thumbwheel switch, and wiring harness. For manual DCCD operation only. Does not include instrument cluster display. Wiring harness is older version and requires some cutting and splicing when fitting due to changes in connector designs. Wiring info provided. wow. expensive. i should sell my spare setup....... |
