Have a Nice Day? Noob utec question..(please dont attack me)

I have an 04 sti with a downpipe, fmic, cbe, and a short ram intake. I just recently installed the utec and was wondering if the stage 2 base map would run ok for awhile, a professional tune seems in order?

really dont need fmic uless you have upgraded turbo, fuel pump and injectors. you pro
bably wont see as big a power gain in the torque region b/c of this, but yes i highly recommend you dont get on it hard unless you have a professional tune. utec and most others run the base maps too rich.

if you have a wideband... get your afr's around 11.5:1 and then look at your fuel consumption. where you have the biggest need for fuel(VE) you should have less ignitiion timing. to be safe... turn the ignition timing down 2 degrees all over the map and watch your afr's.
