Default WTB: KYB AGX struts for 02 WRX

I'm looking for KYB AGX struts for my 02 WRX. I saw them on ebay for $369US + shipping, duty etc. (new) but I figired that someone may have a set and is trying to get rid of them. Obviously they have to work and be leak free.

Let me know.

i run KYB's and Eibach's on the wife's Maxima. I've also installed them on a GC8.

You may want to take a closer look at Meagan coilovers or something before you go with the KYBs.

Why is that? Are you not happy with the AGX's? I have Prodrive P1's and I thought that would work well together.

I would never reccomend coilovers to anyone who didn't race...or didn't have the desire to take them off all the time for cleaning, or could properly set them up.

The install on the GC8 seemed a little wonky, as if the KYBs were actually a little short.

It has more to do with the benefits of adjustable camber plates and ride height, with coilovers, for a couple hundred bucks more than KYB's and springs.

I had AGX's on my Talon Rally car for a season (until I could afford DMS)
They actually stood up pretty well for a season - I would run them on the stiffer settings - the soft settings were like driving a Cadilac

How were they on dirt/semi-rough roads?

If you want them for daily driving on dirt roads - they work quite well.

If I was (and I am) building another Rally car for stage use - I would take in the pop bottles and buy some real rally suspension (DMS / Ohlins / etc.). Nothing improves a production class rally car like great suspension - says the guy who just picked up his new DMS yesterday.

Bought them new from Ebay. $369US for all 4 is not bad. (plus shipping, brokerage, duty, gst) should be about $550cdn.
