I really want to get down there back to Austin.

Wife wants to move to Houston.

We like it there.

I will label Austin a nice place to visit.
It is the land of Pawn shops and gated communities, crime has to be a major problem.

That said I had a blast. Bone daddy's, Seeing the rings of Saturn, Moon, and "subaru conselation" through a telescope, nice car meet, and 6th street were all awesome.

Austin > Houston any day!!!! I grew up in San Antonio and went to UT Austin for a short time. I was just in San Antonio over the Christmas holidays and I must say that Subarus don't seem too popular down there. Plenty o' crappy Camaros and pickups though

Texas would be a lot better without all the Rednecks, Republicans and uniballers.

Go ahead and look up property tax rates. I have. I can't afford the NH prop taxes.

I work for a company based in Texas......I can only stand one overnight there.

That is all.

Exclamation Italians in Texas ?

I'm not sure people in Texas know what Italians are

I would prolly get shot if i didn't shave 2 days in a row

When i ride horses out in Colorado, they call me an 'I'-talin' from back east

- Wonder what the hec they would call me in Texas

Either way, something tells me i would prolly struggle to "blend in"

It would be part of Mehico then! I think white people are a minority in Texas now.

i'm still debating moving down there eventually.

i wanna get my electrical license up here first though, work for a lil bit, save up as much money as i can, and move myself down there. with the economy the way it is in texas (seems like jobs are hard to come by, at least according to my uncle **right outside housten**), and with property so cheap, if i saved $50,000, i'd have *probably* better than 25% down on a house, and a rather inexpensive mortgage.
