Exclamation

Courtesy of Babelfish, some clarifications made by me, not that I know French or anything:

Speed takes another young victim

Montréalais in the score lost the life in a road accident Tuesday evening in the Island-Bizard, in the west of Montreal. The victim lost the control of its car on the path of the Edge-of-lake. At some speed, he then struck a stone low wall. He died in the impact.

His passenger, therefore old in the score, draws some with minor wounds.

It seems that the victim, a speed freak, often slipped by to sharp pace on this road.

The driver struck this low wall of stone at some speed.

Default A better translation

The article says:

A Montreal citizen in his 20s lost his life in a car crash Tuesday evening in l'ile-Bizard, west of Montreal.

The victim lost control of his car on Bord-du-lac street. He smashed into a small stone wall at full speed. He died on impact.

His passenger, also in his 20s, walked away with minor injuries.

It seems the victim, a racer (that's not really right), often travelled at excessive speeds on this road.

Unhappy condolences

very sad to hear about this. I really despise hearing about death due to speed, but not everyone learns the easy way.

However, the good die young, so may his soul rest in peace.

phat.

Damn, that's terrible, MTL seems to have a lot of road racing deaths we hear about nowadays. What's going on there? It's freakin' sad, guys, be more careful! Take it to the track.

My sympathy goes out to his family and friends.

This is awful. Can we keep this thread up top as a reminder of what can happen when you race on the street? So sad...

Yeah, I know...every week its someone else....

A month ago some guy took his 911 to like 250 km/hr and killed himself on the highway...with 3 passengers! How you can stuff 4 people in a 911, I dunno....

The problem is our cops...they dont give a crap! I've passed by cops going 40 km/hr over the limit and they dont even budge! Well, its good for me, I dont get tickets, but still....I've heard stories about IDIOT drunken freinds of mine driving like psychos and only getting warnings!

but still, besides the cops, JUST DON'T SPEED!!!!!!!
