I have PIAA Super white in my Legacy. They have good life expentency if you are careful while installing them. It shouldn't be touched otherwise it can reduce the life of bulb. I really like them. Especially the high beam works very well. It won't fry your stock wiring. I have mine for more than six month and I had no problems.

I have been using the Hella #78150 - Replacement H4 (HB2) Bulb, XENON, 60/55W @ $10.43 Each from Susquehanna MotorSports http://catalog.com/susq/hella/bulbs.htm

How much do the PIAA's cost? I am very happy with the quality of the light from these bulbs, very white with a ever so slight blueish tint (hardly percievable). Much better then the stock stuff and I have yet get flashed. Even though these are only 60/55w bulbs they are much brighter then stock. They also have other bulbs, all the way up to 100/80w monsters, all very reasonably priced, unlike the PIAA's!

I paid $75 for a set of PIAA super white 100/80w. I know that they are expensive, but they are going to last longer. Before that I had some other kind but lasted only couple of months.

Talking

I currently use Narva Xenons. They are really nice bulbs, and their quality is very good. Bulb wattage is same as the factory. they have a hint of blue, in and they show a distinct white look. Not the annoying eye aquinting white that PIAA or other bulbs give out, not that I don't like PIAAs, I just can't justify dishing out $70+ for a set of bulbs. I get mine at PUMA, great guys. http://www.puma-access.com/products.html

Good luck,
Rich

Have a Nice Day?

Adil, You do realize that Hella has been making light bulbs for OEM's for, oh, 30 years or so before PIAA ever thought of selling there overpriced products. Don't get me wrong, I like some of the PIAA designs and even have some of the fog/driving combo's on the wifes van, but I learned the hard way, overhyped/overpriced.

PeteH

BTW, does PIAA actually manufacture there own bulbs?

Thumbs down

My wife bought the PIAA 80/80 superwhites for me and I loved them for about a month. After that one burned out. I returned it to my the place she bought them(lifetime warranty). One month later the other bulb burned out. Returned that one. The other butrned out one month later. Went to return that one and I got a major attitude from the manager(but I can't blame him). So I told him to give me my money back. Needless to say I would not recommend the H4 PIAA superwhites. Now I'm using these "ghost in the machine" cool blue Sylvania headlights. Not as nice of a "blue" as the PIAA's but at $9.99 a piece I don't mind if they burn out once a month(they have been fine for 2 months now).
