Default Dodge Rampage Concept @ 2006 Chicago Show

Dodge Rampage Concept @ 2006 Chicago Show

Quote:
Dodge takes Honda's innovative Ridgeline one better with this concept pickup. Like the Ridgeline it's front-wheel drive, with an independent rear suspension, and offers underbed cargo stowage. But it also has a Hemi V-8, a tailgate that can function as a loading ramp, a midgate with power window, Sto-N-Go seating (rear seat and front passenger seat), and sliding rear doors. The stubby hood allows for a larger cabin along with a five-foot cargo bed.

The old Rampage was based on a Dodge Omni, wasn't it?
This one's probably a Neon or something

That thing looks sweet. i wonder how much of that will acctually hit production. if any. even if they dont build it they should take some of the inovative things on it and put those towards other cars.

Okay I am not going to lie, that is a pretty sweet looking pickup.. the rest of the truck has finally acheived a scale to match the grill. Nice.

Also, I was not aware that the Ridgeline was FWD?

Since when is the Ridgeline FWD? And why the hell would this thing be FWD?

As much as I hate trucks, that is pretty decent looking - espesially since it doesn't look overly-huge.

That telescoping tailgate is sweet. I wonder how much weight it can handle

The Ridgeline is not FWD and this thing can't be either. They don't build FWD pickups for a reason.

That tailgate is really innovative and could be a huge selling point.

they may no do the inside of the truck, but that body style is HOT

I am still waitingfor dodge to just but it up and make a full sized SUV
they got aht 4 door huge truck, all they need to do is enclose the bed and you are in the market. then again that market may be shrinking so /shrug
